Coachwell Workshop

$340.00

The CoachWell Workshop provides a playground from which to explore, play with, and integrate specific skills. Together we will embark on a coaching journey that provides you with opportunities to safely take risks, gain confidence in your coaching, and to more fully embody all the skills you know, and the new skills you’ll learn.

New coaches are often nervous and crave continued structure and learning opportunities as they are getting their feet wet. Once out of the classroom setting, they sometimes second guess all they know. This workshop not only provides that continued structure and experience but also provides feedback specific to the IAOTRC core competencies and open discussion to explore what they experienced and observed to deepen learning.

The design of the CoachWell Workshop fosters deepening of the core competences and tools to integrate into your coaching practice. It also offers structures to enliven passion and practice for lifelong learning. In a judgment-free zone, the risk-taking, innovation, vulnerability, confidence and unlayering, support an extraordinary practice time for coaches of all levels. Participation in each workshop is capped at 10 to foster a deeper learning experience.

You will learn from presentation, demonstration, coaching, observation, and group discussion in an inviting and supportive space where the Coachwell Team will lead you through two hours of skill-building, live coaching, debriefs, and heartfelt connections each week, over a period of four weeks.

After four short sessions, you will have:

  • Identified areas of growth

  • Learned new perspectives and styles of coaching

  • Sharpened your coaching skills

  • Learned how to adhere more closely to the core competencies

Even season coaches will find immense value in this workshop. It will serve as a refresher in many ways. More importantly, if you are a seasoned coach, it will expose you to other coaches with their individual styles. When we’ve been coaching for a while, it is natural to develop patterns. While these patterns may serve us and our clients well, it can be equally beneficial to broaden and deepen our perspectives.

What you can expect in the CoachWell Workshop:

Before the workshop begins you will start with a self-assessment to identify the blocks you’ve recognized in your coaching. If you haven’t started coaching yet, you might recognize potential blocks you would like to avoid.

DAY ONE:

The first day of the workshop kicks off in the playground with some pass-the-baton coaching as you and your fellow participants coach the same client on one topic.

Then to the fun part! We’ll dive into feedback and open discussion to reflect where each coach nailed it and where opportunities for growth were exhibited. This time feels like a mash up of playground time meets support group. You will receive invaluable feedback from peers and workshop leaders that feels loving, supportive, and invigorating so that you can then bring blocks, challenges, and newly realized opportunities for growth to the next session to play with.

DAY TWO AND THREE:

There will more playground time to play around with opportunities for growth that have come to light for you and / or other techniques you’ve learned from previous sessions. This is where you will drill down into blocks and new ideas alike as you play and integrate skills that will take your coaching to the next level.

Open discussion and feedback will keep you digging deeper to the core of your blocks and opening to new techniques to play with.

DAY FOUR:

We’re going to switch things up to bring your newfound skills home. Now that you’ve spent the past three weeks learning and playing and integrating, you have already reached the next level in your coaching. But we want to get you one step further. You will receive coaching on the one thing that is blocking you from that one next step.

We’ll bring it home with open discussion to share your learnings, celebrate your successes and commit to your next step in your coaching practice.
